hi! a Matryoshka doll is a symbol itself:) it usually represents a woman dressed in sarafan, a traditional long dress with flower decorations. The design always follows certain proportions, like the shape of the doll’s face, eyes, hair, the position of hands etc… however there are different matryoshka styles all around Russia! here are some proportions I found for you:
